    —Next Sunday, October 5, M. de Makaroff will give a musical matinee at one o’clock in the Philharmonic Society’s hall.

    This artist will perform the following pieces on a newly perfected ten-string guitar:

    1st Grand Fantasy on a theme of Montecchi and Capuletti, composed by Mertz; 2nd Introduction and variations on a theme of Pirate, by the same; 3rd Mazurka, by Makaroff; 4th Carnival of Venice, by the same.

    —M. de Makaroff donnera, dimanche prochain, 5 octobre, à une heure de relevée, dans la sale de la Société Philharmonique, une matinée musicale.

    Cet artiste exécutera sur une guitare à dix cordes, nouvellement perfectionnée, les morceaux suivants:

   1º Grande Fantaisie sur un thème de Montecchi et Capuletti, composée par Mertz; 2º Introduction et variations sur un thème du Pirate, par le même; 3º Mazurka, par de Makaroff; 4º Carnaval de Venise, par le même.
