I am very happy to announce that Mel Bay is now managing distribution of all DGA Editions books. Our books will still be available through our online store along with any related digital music downloads, but you may order directly from Mel Bay or have your favorite music store order through Mel Bay.

I am very happy to announce that I will be publishing the recently discovered Concertinos by Padovec edited by Stefan Hackl. Darko Petrinjak recently performed both Concertinos on April 16th and will be assisting with the editions. The editions include text by Stefan, full score and removable parts.

     

I am pleased to announce the Bobrowicz Volume II started shipping April 15. You may order online here. There are some slight delays to the Mertz Op.32 printing, but it should be shipping before the end of April.

J. N. de Bobrowicz Selected Works Volume II and J. K. Mertz Divertissement über Motive der Oper: Der Prophet (Meyerbeer), Op.32 have gone to the printers and will be shipping on April 15.

I have also added a number of used books to the online store. There are only single copies of each of those books.

Thank you all so much for helping to test the digital downloads through the online store. I have enough information now to help direct future digital edition projects. I have updated the Regondi file with some interesting information and moved the file to its catalog entry shown on the left side of this page under DGA Editions Catalog.

The Foden Grand Sonata book is now available - shipping immediately.

The J. K. Mertz Opern-Revue, Op. 8, Nos. 9-16 Volume II book is now shipping. It has actually been available for shipping since October 23, but I wanted to add to this notice that the Foden Sonata is being printed and will definitely be shipping on October 29. Due to the large amount of information being included in the Bobrowicz Volume II book it is still not ready for the printers. I will make an announcement when I have a definite shipping date.

I have added book previews for the Foden and Mertz vol.2 books. I also updated the Mertz vol.1 book preview with a higher quality music sample that is more representative of the quality of the facsimile in the printed book.

The shipping date for Mertz vol.2 is now October 23rd and Foden will ship around October 29th. The release date of the Bobrowicz vol.2 book has slipped some because we've ended up with quite a long introduction. It will now ship in November, but I think everyone will be happy with what is in the book.
