Material for the Study of Mandolin and Guitar「マンドリンとギター研究資料」
Takei Morishige’s journal “Material for the Study of Mandolin and Guitar”「マンドリンとギター研究資料」was published from January 1942 to November 1943.
Each issue was only 4 pages and printed on a single, folded piece of newsprint. The journal ended publication due to a paper shortage during the war.

Update 5/2011: A table of contents list in both Japanese and English is now available.

Update 12/2019: Post format updated and clarified. Sources listed. Portion of English title changed from “Articles” to “Documents” as a more accurate translation.
Update 6/2020: English title of journal changed to reflect the translated name used in a book of Takei’s music published in 1965.
