(more…)The Japanese journal “The Study of Mandolin and Guitar” 「マンドリンとギター研究」was published by Morishige Takei from March 1924 until October 1941. This journal started after a publishing pause from his first journal “Mandolin and Guitar” 「マンドリンとギター」caused by the Great Kanto Earthquake in September 1923. In October 1941 Takei paused publication again, then restarted in January 1942 with “Material for the Study of Mandolin and Guitar” 「マンドリンギター研究資料」.
(more…)The Japanese journal “Mandolin and Guitar” 「マンドリンとギター」was published by Morishige Takei from April 1916 until August 1923. The series was interrupted by the Great Kanto Earthquake in September 1923. Takei restarted the journal under a new title in 1924, “The Study of Mandolin and Guitar” 「マンドリンギター研究」.

(more…)The original Armonia アルモニア was published in Japan by Chuzaemon Sawaguchi 澤口忠左衛門 from 1927 to 1941 (see my post dedicated to this journal). Isao Takahashi 高橋功 began publishing under this same Armonia name from January 1954 and continued until the last issue in November 1959.
